About this deal

Mr. String finds a fishbowl with a Moorish Idol inside. He transforms into a fish resembling the one in the fishbowl and copies everything it does. When the fish jumps out of the bowl, Mr. String tries to copy it but ends up swishing himself around. He laughs as the segment ends. This was only my second foray into the weird and wonderful mind of Oyeyemi, but I enjoyed it thoroughly! I know she polarises readers, but so far both White is For Witching and Mr Fox have been great reading experiences. Mr Fox isn't quite as dark as White is For Witching, although it does have a main character who can't seem to stop killing his fictional wives... Singer: Rolling, rolling, rolling, see that red ball rolling! Rolling, rolling, rolling! Along! Roll you rolling master, roll a little faster, keep on rolling to the end of the song! Season 2's "I Am" Song for Plush has a dance based off of him, performed twice in the song—once so the viewers can learn it, and again so they can perform it.

The book is loosely based on the legend of Bluebeard – a feared and shunned nobleman who murdered multiple wives after they enter his forbidden room. His last wife-to-be is able to escape her fate. Hey, she says, you weren't expecting that, were you? And she takes us by the wrist and yanks us into the narrative. We drag our heels a little at first and complain that we don’t want it to be like that, we simply want to read by the rules. Can't you keep the roles clear, we protest - the reader’s role, the writer’s role, the narrator’s role, the other characters’ roles, none of this mixing and mingling, thank you very much. The show got a 7.1 from IMBD, 3 stars out of 5 from Common Sense Media and says is for ages 2/3+ saying that the characters is'int as charming as characters from Disney, or even Noggin which is a channel for the same demographic as HBO Family. There's also Animation World Network's article dated March 1st, 1999 which says the show plays it too safe. Doris: Welcome to the World Heavy Weightlifting Contest, where weightlifters lift great weights, and make it look easy! Here comes our first lifter, Plush. (He blows a bubblegum bubble and it pops) Lifting great weights is hard to do. (He spits on his paws) And this is one hard weight to lift!

As confirmed through the Library of Congress, this episode is notably the first to be produced. As a result, there are noticeable differences between this episode and other episodes. This professional campaign titled 'World Tour Game' was published in United Kingdom in January, 2010. It was created for the brand: Cheestrings, by ad agency: Fallon. This Digital medium campaign is related to the Food industry and contains 1 media asset. It was submitted almost 14 years ago. All: He's a Plush, he's a Plush, he was created in a rush, just a luscious, gushing, such a such, with oh so much to brush. He's a Plush, he's a Plush, he's a Plush! Both: You'll bring down the house with a whiff or a wheeze. (Bob places two more down slowly) Ooh... ooohh!

The premise, if you haven't read it: St. John Fox, the Mr. Fox of the title, is a writer who can't stop killing women in his stories. He always comes up with an excuse, of course, but the attentive reader will notice parallels between his interactions with Daphne and the deaths of these fictional women, so maaaaaybe he's got some unspoken issues with women. Mary Foxe, his fictional muse whom he eventually wills into the real world, takes objection to this, and the two chase each other through St. John Fox's fictional universes, Mary trying to get St. John to realize the consequences of his actions, St. John trying to defend himself. And when Daphne finds out about Mary, all hell breaks loose.Oyeyemi hits the nail with this book, giving voice to my annoyance with this hedonistic treatment of dead women, not only in crime fiction but throughout literature. Byronic heroines do literaly little else than dying all the time. Writers, poets, have been women-murderers for centuries, but does it really matter? It's a book, it's all lies after all. "Well," Miss Foxe, the rebellious muse of the book, says, "it does matter". Inspired by the English version of Bluebeard, a fairytale called Mister Fox, she chases the author of dead women, Mr Fox, through a series of oneiric landscapes in which real and fictional blend together, in which selves multiply into dozens of different lives - some of them lived, some of them only dreamt of. But really, what makes the lived more important than the dreamt of?...

This is a novel of self-discovery, of the power of fiction (obviously), and breaking free of the idea that all you are is the character in the story of someone else. Mr. Fox learns the dear lesson that the women in his life are very much their own individuals, with their own free will, and that this will might very well work against him. More children attempt to pull up, with various cuts to a child watching them. Eventually, he runs up and pulls himself up) Cut to kids getting into barbershop chairs and being covered with purple towels. Their hair gets sprayed, then cut, and then shaved. At the end, they look into mirrors at their new hairdos) The show has a very small following of fans through many things like this wiki, the dedicated Discord server, a part of the Crashbox fan server, the sub-reddit, and various uploads on YouTube from fans. Oh boy! Mop's gonna take a picture of me for her scrapbook, but which me? This me, or the mirror me? Uh oh! Is my tie crooked? Let me look in the mirror. Oh, don't wanna ruin the picture! (He stretches the bow tie) What if I move right when Mop takes the picture? Then my picture will be blurry, and I need to blow a foghorn so everyone would know where I am! Oh boy, look at my hair! It's a mess, oh ho ho! I can't take a picture looking like I do in the mirror!Doris (singing): There may be something that's hard for me, but for you, it's so easy. Then something else is for easy for me, but for you may be hard to do. It's different... everybody is different... Story Arc: Some episodes have segments with continuing stories in them that span the entire episode. Examples include "Win, Lose, Tie" has some characters competing in a home game show in segments split in three parts, and "A Little Curious About Life" also features a three part series of segments with Bob and Little Cup planting a flower. Singers: He's a little grumpy. Frazzled, fried, and frumpy. He is loopy, and he's lumpy, skippy, slinky, slum, and schlumpy.

Both: Anything goes, cha cha cha! (Mary Jane and Lacey start to dance like them) Just get off your seat, and shuffle your feet, to the long and short beat, of the sweet, cha cha cha! Cut to Mrs. and Mr. Shoe dancing in the street under a streetlight. Bob comes flying by and bumping Doris who is the door for a toy store)Someone might mistake me for a pineapple bush, and dress me up in a Hawaiian shirt, and I'd have to do the hula dance in the sand! The sand is so... sandy! Ah ha ha hooo ooooohhoohhohh... And it's a novel full of love. Love to the art of writing, and love of love itself. Of the complicated relationships between people (and muses come to life). And how we must learn to accept the other as someone unknown to us, someone free from us, but also a someone who might choose us over others. There are a few releases of this show other than the VHS tape on various streaming services. This does'int not include cable subscriptions this was on (Ex Charter, Direct TV). Oh, this is just like looking in a mirror. (The worm starts to move) I can do that! (He moves by the side of the worm) It's like walking next to a mirror. Mirror, mirror, mirror, whoopie! This is terribly, terribly, fun, but I'm getting dizzy! Everyone dies." He smiled crookedly. "I doubt it's ever a pleasant experience. So does it really matter how it happens?"
