About this deal

A longer mounting post is included, but can only be installed if the factory post is not welded in place. Looking at our documentation on the Murano's for those years you do have a rear-mounted spare tire under the storage area, and visually it does appear that the JBL BassPro could be a good solution. Come join the discussion about performance, builds, modifications, classifieds, troubleshooting, maintenance, new releases, and more! The first step was to cut down the black threaded post portion, and also to use a bandsaw to cut down the white "nut" portion.

Their site seemed questionable but I had no issues, they shipped it quickly and everything was all good so no complaints from me.So even though its only like 50W rms, it'll punch way above its weight (a true, CEA 2006 rated rms).

Mine is shallow, and i actually had to remove the spare tire for it to fit, and even then the spare tire cover stuck up a bit. I will lose the full-depth part of the storage tray back there (as the sub sits a little proud of the space-saver spare), but I'm already thinking about how I could take two of those trays and make one long shallow one, instead. I drilled the hole for the M8 rivetnut, and heated the flat steel piece while it was held in place in a vice, and then pressed the black spare tire rod down over it.This wire harness provides a line out converter for connection to one set of RCA cables to provide an audio signal to an external amplifier. This amount includes seller specified domestic postage charges as well as applicable international postage, dispatch, and other fees. Once the fitting was good I used a heat gun to reseal the foam, so I didn’t have little popcorns always falling off.

The JBL BassPro Hub has line level inputs and speaker inputs that allow you to connect it to any car audio system making it a great upgrade to your factory system or the bass foundation of the aftermarket system of your dreams. The built-in Class D amplifier delivers 200W RMS and the 11" (279mm) feather-light fiberglass woofer delivers the signature kick and punch of JBL bass. The required space for this to fit into the spare tire opening would be a diameter =15" and a depth of 7.

I think the inputs on the JBL system are the same (the speaker level and RCA plugs) - you just vary the gain. As I mentioned in an earlier post, the storage tray does not fit because the subwoofer sits proud of the spare tire. I had to make my own, and used a hex nut, as you will never get it tight enough with a wingnut to keep from rattling. I definitely would encourage anyone with an interest to try it out, maybe that'd be a good general post though. That said, the measurements for the JBL BPH are listed on the item page allowing you to measure your vehicle and ensure the spare and associated cover will clear.
