I tried gaslighting myself into liking it, as I really wanted to, but after a couple days of applying it, I knew it wasn’t just me when friends found the scent to be unpleasant as well. Club De Nuit Sillage by United Arab Emirates fragrance house Armaf is a floral woody musk scent for men and women. I have to admit I almost wanted to sell it because I only considered how it smelled right under my nose. I found it to be very synthetic and cheap, with the citrus notes dominating over everything else throughout its longevity. In particular, I really like ginger, and that makes this yet overly citrusy fragrance much more wearable for me.

Top notes are Violet Leaves, Bergamot, Ginger, Lemon, Lime and Black Currant; middle notes are Jasmine, Rose and Iris; base notes are Sandalwood, Ambroxan, Cedar and Musk. The drydown is better but I can't get over that metallic opening, it makes me never want to wear it. When i first get this and i spray it i was like wtf did i just bought and 1 hour later i can’t stop sniffing it cuz it smells very good.The ginger gives it a nice spicy touch that presents itself near the end of the open and through the heart notes.

Sillage is a very good performer and when I first wore it I got a headache as I put too much on thinking it wouldn’t perform well as we all know SMW doesn’t. I've tried Xerjoff Mefisto, Derby Club House Blanche, Dua Water of Arabia and all of them were too floral or synthetic for me, so no bottle ever got to move in with me. I tried it and it sucks… its a weird smell I would associate to public bathrooms that were just washed.

If there would be something in the direction of rose with woody or even smoky drydown that would be something I would want to try .
