About this deal

I sprayed once on my wrist and it's still very much there with moderate sillage many hours later, so lasting power seems fine too. It's appropriate for school (and by school I mean junior high, high school and college) but it can also be worn to the office and to the work place. The opening is sweet, a mix of vanilla and peach that reminds me somehow of hi chew candy and fancy hair conditioner.

I was a teenager in the 90's, but I have never smelled this on anyone, *ever* so without any emotional (or otherwise) connotations I feel like I have the freedom to adore this to pieces. I'm surprised many people pick up vanilla in this fragrance as I don't detect it at all and vanilla is one of my most favourite notes.I want it because my Nana (my youngest aunt) would wear this when I was a little girl in the late 80’s and she was a gorgeous stylish teen with stylish shoulder padded blazer outfits. It's also Excellent for layering with fragrances that could use a bit of a base and some serious help in the longevity department. When this came out, I was in High School, and didn’t have an interest in it, although I distinctly remember how popular it was.

Her boyfriend loves her, he likes the powdery girly smell, maybe it reminds him of his mom at least a little bit. Even my English teacher was wearing this and every time she spoke to me, I couldn't catch my breatch! I'm a guy and I've been wearing Ex`cla-ma`tion a good amount this summer and it has quickly become one of my favorites. If you have the chance to try it first, I don't think it's a safe blind purchase or a scent for all, no matter how cheap it is.

So I'm sitting here in the tub taking a bubble bath and I kept smelling this beautiful powdery scent 🌺and I just could not put my finger on where it was coming from. I have worn this cologne for many, many years and am always asked what I am wearing since it smells so good.I couldn't afford it back then when I was in highschool (when my perfume obsession was just budding) so I was left with a certain nostalgia about it. Nostalgia aside (a big aside, the fragrance and bottle screams late 80s to me, a good time) I compare this, obviously, to Trésor. It smells like a mixture of those little boxes of apricot jam you get at hotel breakfasts, hairspray, the laundry detergent aisle and scented dolls. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing this for my work, however, as this does not ooze the confidence and the CEO boss quality I like when wearing perfume for work.

I don't get any vanilla or powder notes on me but what I do get is musk and amber and a bit of flowers. She said I wanted to try out your perfume that you bought with your father's allowance to see what kind of taste you have in perfume.I always confused the Ex'cla-ma'tion girl with Revlon's Karen Duffy for Charlie White, but that's another review for a different time). For such a quirky bottle and the promise of statement-making, this scent doesn't quite live up to the hype, BUT.
