We're experienced campers and had our tents up in minutes but this Eurohike Shelter took us over an hour and one of the poles split. Low and angled down enough to take strong winds with ease, you loose out on headroom but its no problem getting changed inside.

Great for taking advantage of any slight breeze and brilliant for stargazing from the comfort of your 'bag. When wild camping, I always try to pitch my tent with a clear Easterly view so that I get the sun as early as possible in the morning. It’s at one end of the Pennine Way, so I’ve been aware of it for donkey’s years but expected that I would only ever go there if/when I got round to walking that long distance path. It didn't take long to dry out though and I guessed that it was condensated because we had experienced a lot of damp over the two nights, the latter being the colder of the two.The tent has only two fibreglass poles making it pretty easy to erect the outer first and then the inner main part of the tent can be clipped in place. Unlike some other tents, this has an outer layer to which you can pitch initially and then the inner sleeping compartment is attached.
