In the Transformers Prime show (and other CG produced Transformers series) the Transformers characters had to do a lot of visual cheating when they transformed. Parts had to disappear and essentially "morph" into vehicle mode bits. When the toys have to represent those characters, sacrifices are often made for those designs. Since R.E.D. figures do not transform, the designers had an opportunity to create a figure that is very screen accurate, focusing on the look of the CG model and not transformation in its design. To that end, the designers have succeeded to a large degree. Revenge of FOMO. "Behold, Galvatron!" is a redeco of Kingdom Galvatron meant to represent the sequence of Galvatron's creation in The Transformers: The Movie. The figure and its traditional accessories are now cast in translucent purple plastic, ornamented with white printed detailing.This redeco of the Universe Galvatron toy was aimed at being even more show-accurate than the Henkei version shown above. Galvatron now features metallic blue paint on most of his robot body and metallic red on his abdominal plates. His cannon barrel is completely unpainted and translucent, likewise to better resemble both the show and the original toy. He now has Decepticon insignias on his robot chest and tank turret, for the first time in the history of the mold. It also has the distinction on being the only version of the mold to have a metallic blue turret, further increasing screen accuracy. In vehicle mode, the upper body does not connect solidly anywhere resulting in parts moving out of place in copies with loose hinge joints. This is somewhat harder to correct than many figures due to how small the joint is and how it is recessed into the chest.
