About this deal

As for the supporting cast, nobody is “just there” aside from Savannah (Lyla Marlow), Sage’s daughter. Everyone else has a moment (or moments) to shine – save for Molly, who we’ll talk about in a minute. ? That Christmas Feeling ? On the other hand, there is a lot to love here. Autumn Reeser is immensely engaging as Willa, a character that is more identifiable than most female lead characters, she doesn't overdo it while also having none of the going through the motions quality. David Haydn-Jones is even better, doing sympathetic in a very nuanced way and it is very easy to see the character's appeal. The Hallmark festive films are very variable when it comes to the chemistry between their two leads, 'A Bramble House Christmas' is an example of the warm and genuine kind that develops realistically if not perhaps deeply. The rest of the cast are strong too, with a scene stealing Teryl Rothery and adorable Liam Hughes particularly impressing. I ended up enjoying this book almost as much as the movie. I have to admit that the actors brought the characters to life and added just the right amount of emotion to their roles. I felt a little more connected to the characters on the screen than I did while reading the book, but the book is still very good. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the movie stayed pretty true to the book. There were a few things left out, or changed of course, but most of the book, and the same lovely message, was there. We loved Willa as the single mom, unsure of herself and afraid to love again, but knowing she wants only the best for Scout. Egged on by his bitter mom and concerned sisters, Finn Conrad goes to Marietta, Montana to see who this woman is and what hold she had on his father....

I would say that this is the best book of the series which is kinda of sad, because it leaves us with questions unanswered which annoyed me. Finn is under a rigid 30 day timeline before the will can no longer legally be contested so he travels to the bed and breakfast that Willa and her young son Scout (Liam Hughes) are staying at over the Christmas and New Year period. The Bed and Breakfast lodge of Bramble House was a gracious gift to Willa and her cute as a buton son Scout donated by the deceased benefactor Mr. Conrad.Anyway, she ends up downstairs, sees a framed picture of her father as a child, and is all like, “I need to find Willa!”

We even learn a lot about the life of character who we never see on-screen, other than in a framed picture as a child at Bramble House – Greg Conrad – why he abandoned his wife and children, his regret, and his attempt at redemption through Willa. As they get to know each other, Finn casually interrogates both Willa and Scout about their lives, all the while concealing his true identity from them.Liam Hughes portrays Scout Fairchild. The actor’s previous works include ‘Star Trek: Discovery,’‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,’‘V.C. Andrews’ Heaven,’ and ‘Project Blue Book.’ Teryl Rothery essays the role of Mable Bramble. The actor is lauded for her roles in ‘The Outer Limits,’‘The X-Files,’‘First Wave,’‘Masterminds,’ and many more. Other actors in the movie include Andrew Airlie as Ken, Hilary Jardine as Sage, Julia Benson as Molly, and Lyla Marlow as Savannah. Both spend the next 3 weeks hiding their secrets while having this sense of something special for each other...Will new trust be broken and the opportunity to experience authentic love be lost... What do you do when you’ve been given a second chance at life and you don’t know what to do with it?” Mr. Conrad's estranged son sets out to prove that Willa has conned his father. Intending to confront her, instead he gets to know her and it's not hard to figure what happens from there. As the movie goes on we find out more about that estrangement and the wounds it has left in him.
